About Bitsy Friends
Bitsy Friends was created for my daughters first. For their love of stories and for how they act out their favorite moments again and again. For the quiet way play helps them understand things they don’t yet have the words for. It has slowly started to evolve and grow into something that I now want to share with other families.
Where Stories and Play Meet
I’ve always believed that stories don’t stop when the book closes.
With a background in early childhood education, I spent years watching how much deeper children understood a story when they could play it out. When they could hold a character, give them a voice, and step into the story themselves. It wasn’t about teaching in a formal way, it was about connection. About helping stories feel real and meaningful.
That idea followed me into motherhood. Story time in our home often turned into play time. Books spilled into dollhouses. Characters became companions. And before I knew it, those moments were shaping how my children processed emotions, built confidence, and made sense of their experiences.
Bitsy Friends is now built on and growing from that place.

Each Bitsy Friend is paired with a story because storytelling has always been at the heart of how children learn best, naturally and through play and repetition.
Through imaginative play, children build comprehension, empathy, and language skills without pressure or expectation. They practice independence, kindness, and problem-solving in ways that feel safe and familiar. It’s learning through play, the way it’s meant to be; un-rushed, open-ended, and full of heart.
This brand isn’t about lessons or outcomes. It’s about giving children the space to explore stories in their own way and at their own pace.
