The Heart Behind Bitsy Friends

Bitsy World began in a very ordinary place......

As a mom, I started to notice something that felt small at first, but kept showing up again and again. My oldest daughter didn’t want stories to end when the book closed. She wanted them to keep going. She would act out the stories we read, over and over. We would use small dolls, blocks and our dollhouse to bring our favorite stories "to life"! 

Bitsy World exists to support this type of space and play. 

My mission is to create story-based play toys and simple stories that invite children to explore, imagine, and connect, without rushing them, directing them, or turning play into a lesson. I believe childhood doesn’t need to be louder, faster, or more complicated. It needs to feel safe, meaningful, and open.

As a founder, I design with intention.

As a mom, I design with my heart.

Every doll, story, and small detail I create is meant to leave room, for imagination, for emotional growth, and for children to make stories their own. 

I created Bitsy World to be :
