Cardboard Craft: DIY Mini Camping Tent for Tiny Adventures

Make Your Own Mini Camping Tent
This cardboard craft is perfect for mini dolls, small stuffed animals, or any tiny friends ready for an outdoor adventure.
For this project you’ll need:
- A piece of cardboard
- Fabric or felt for the tent
- Hot glue
- Scissors
- Our free camping printables
Below is the template I used, but you can make yours any size you want. I just found this to be the perfect size for my Bitsy Friends!
This tent is pretty easy and I feel like the only part that can be a bit tricky is when you are adding the fabric and ribbon to the front and window panels. So, let me walk you through that part real quick...
You will follow these three steps for the front of the tent and also for the little window on the back panel.
The back of the tent should look like this.
You will then just hot glue all of the pieces together to form your mini tent!
Don’t Forget the Campfire!
Every campsite needs somewhere to roast marshmallows.
For this project I also created a simple felt campfire that pairs perfectly with the tent. It’s quick to make and instantly brings your tiny campsite to life. You can find the templates to the campfire and logs on my free camping printables down below.
You can lightly stuff these mini felt pieces and glue shut! No sewing required.
