How to Make the Cutest Mini Glamping Chairs
Okay, these might be one of my favorite mini projects lately… mostly because they’re so simple but end up super cute!
I made these tiny glamping chairs using popsicle sticks and some vintage lace I thrifted, but honestly? You could use whatever you have on hand. Fabric scraps, ribbon, even an old baby swaddle you’re ready to part with. This is very much a use what you’ve got kind of craft.
And the best part? You can make them pretty quickly. Like… during a nap, while your coffee is still warm (maybe), kind of quick.

Why I Love Mini Crafts Like This
I’ve really been leaning into these small, doable projects lately. Not the big, perfectly styled, takes-all-day kind of crafts… just little things that add to play.
Because let’s be honest, when you’re in the thick of it, you don’t have hours to prep something elaborate.
But you do have 10–20 minutes here and there.
And that’s enough to make something really sweet.

My girls’ play language is dolls, so adding even something tiny like this completely changes how they play. Suddenly it’s not just a dollhouse… it’s a campsite, a cozy little glamping setup, a whole story they get to step into.
If your kids are into dolls too, you’re in the right place. This is exactly the kind of play I love to encourage; simple, open-ended, and easy to build on.

Make your own mini chairs
I left my popsicle sticks unpainted because I love that soft, natural look… but you could absolutely paint them if you want to switch up the vibe.
Think:
- soft pinks and greens for a cottage feel
- neutrals for that cozy glamping look
- or let your kids go wild and decorate their own
There’s really no wrong way to do this, and that’s what makes it fun.

Just a Little Reminder
It doesn’t have to be perfect.
It doesn’t have to be Pinterest-worthy.
Sometimes it’s just about sitting down, making something tiny, and watching your kids light up when they play with it.
