DIY Fabric Boat for Mini Dolls
There’s something about making tiny things from materials I already have around the house that will never get old for me...
I made this little boat especially for our Bitsy Friends, using a mix of broadcloth, felt, scrap cotton and craft foam.

What I Used
For my boat, I used:
- Broadcloth
- Felt
- Scrap cotton fabric
- Craft foam
- Twill tape or yarn
The Fabric for the side of the boat measures: 18in x 2.75in
The Foam for the side of boat measures: 18in x 2in
The Felt piece measures: 7.5in x 1.5in

You definitely don’t need to use the exact same fabrics I did. This is a perfect project for digging through your scrap bin, repurposing old clothes, or using those little pieces of fabric that aren’t quite big enough for anything else.

Made for Little Adventures
One of the reasons I created Bitsy Friends was because I wanted to encourage creative play and I love when we can sit beside them and help bring those ideas to life with our own hands.
That’s really what Bitsy World is all about: inspiring families to play side by side, make things together, and holding onto a little bit of that childhood magic.
