DIY Dollhouse Washer and Dryer from Wooden Jewelry Boxes (With FREE Laundry Printables!)

DIY Dollhouse Washer and Dryer from Wooden Jewelry Boxes (With FREE Laundry Printables!)

This little dollhouse washer and dryer set started with just a pair of inexpensive wooden jewelry boxes. You can find them at the dollar store or on Amazon.

With a little paint and imagination, they became the sweetest miniature laundry room for our tiny friends.

A Simple DIY Anyone Can Make

One of my favorite things about this project is how beginner-friendly it is.

If you can paint and glue, you can make these!

They’re sturdy enough for kids to play with, charming enough to display, and they make the cutest addition to any dollhouse, miniature cottage, or pretend play setup.

I especially love pairing them with tiny laundry baskets, folded towels, clothespins, and little bottles of detergent.

Why We Love Miniature Crafts

One of my biggest hopes with Bitsy World Play is to help families discover that magical little worlds can be created from things already waiting around the house.

An old box.

A scrap of cardboard.

A bottle cap.

A popsicle stick.

Sometimes all it takes is looking at everyday objects a little differently.

That’s exactly how this washer and dryer came to life.
