A Tiny Felt Garden for Your Dollhouse
I made this mini felt garden using just a few things I already had:
- some felt scraps
- hot glue
- and a thrifted photo frame
That’s it. No big prep, no complicated steps, just a simple, cozy little craft that turned into a whole new play setup.

The Kind of Craft That Fits Into Real Life
Lately I’ve been all about these quick, low-effort projects. The kind you can throw together in a small pocket of time but still feel really meaningful.
Because if you’re anything like me, you’re juggling a lot… and the idea of setting up something elaborate can feel overwhelming.

This Tiny garden took me maybe 15–20 minutes, and then we had a whole garden scene ready for play.
I didn’t expect is how versatile this little felt garden would be.
One day it’s:
- a veggie garden
- the next it’s part of a little flower shop
- then it turns into a backyard scene for her dolls
She moves things around, adds to it, changes the story… and it just keeps evolving.
That’s the magic of these simple setups. They leave room for imagination instead of doing all the work for them.

If You’re a Homeschool Mama…
This would be so cute as part of a gardening unit or small world play center.
You could:
- talk about planting and growing
- add little labels or signs
- pair it with books about gardens or seasons
Or keep it super simple and just let them play and explore—it all counts.

A Little Encouragement
You don’t need a big plan.
You don’t need a ton of supplies.
Sometimes it’s just:
a piece of felt,
a little glue,
and a few quiet minutes creating something small.
